Jacob Wrenn is continuing as SHYC’s Chair and will support the group to recruit new members and deliver exciting new projects.
Jacob has helped lead the SHYC in a Co-Chair role throughout a number of projects including the Youth Conference on Curriculum for Life, our latest training residential, our work raising awareness of discrimination and also the Make Your Mark national survey.
Additionally, Jacob works at a county level in the Surrey Youth Cabinet as Surrey Young Mayor which has enabled him to deliver joint training events with other youth councils and promote SHYC as a model to aspiring youth councils across the county.
SHYC are actively recruiting new members for an election on all roles after summer 2020.
